| Play and Learn | This is an ongoing lesson game for those who have finished the beginners’ course and want to improve their bidding and play. The focus is on sending and receiving the right messages. Each lesson game is $6 and the stand-alone topics allow you to attend as your schedule permits. The same topic is covered each week at 9 a.m. Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. Friday. This is an excellent opportunity to practice your skills with Rick Covalciuc at hand to assist you. |
| Fun with Bridge | For intermediate duplicate players, this ongoing class/bridge game will focus on reading your partner’s bidding messages and defining your own hand. The half-hour lesson will be followed by a short duplicate game. Steve Linehan for the $6 lesson, which includes a handout. |
| Through the Convention Card | Exploring treatments, duplicate tactics and conventions with a mini-lesson, Val Covalciuc will teach you how to fill out your convention card. Defensive leads, carding and agreements are also covered. You will also have fun playing in a duplicate game, followed by analysis of two or three of the hands. The fee is $7 per lesson, which includes a handout. EachTuesday class stands alone, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. |
